I have a little tiny website with not too much traffic and e-mail. I host it with IXWebHosting.com. Web hosting is ok, but e-mail keeps having problems (IMAP keeps hanging for a long while and web e-mail interface keeps hanging too).

When I look for alternatives, many of them are either high end and too expensive (>/mo) or have crappy reviews.

Are you happy with some hosting provider (website+e-mail) that costs </mo?

I’m sick of waiting 20 minutes for my oulook to download 1,000 spam a day. Is there a hosting provider out there that provide spam blockers on the server side so I only download white-listed emails?

They would also have to have the challenge question feature so that people that weren’t whitlisted knew that their email wasn’t received and they have a chance to get through. It should also have a reviewable junk folder… but server side.

Any one know of such a website and/or email service provider like that? (Yahoo’s SpamGuard plus doesn’t have challenge question)

I’m thinking on changing my hosting provider because the one I have really sucks; the web pages I have there often fail (data base service) and I’d like to be on a reliable one.
Is Godaddy a good hosting ? What about the speed they have ? Does anyone have a bad experience with them ? Is there any other hosting service you could recommend me ?

My domain will expire on August 09. My hosting provider has closed the Hosting space.I want to know if i use another hosting provider server should i have to renew the domain now or the existing domain name will be enough? And will i be able to see all the e-mails of my previous servers or the e-mails will be deleted if i maintain the hosting with another server?

I need a really good hosting provider. My requirements is atleast 40GB of space and if possible I’m looking for VP Hosting too. I prefer Linux over Windows. If you know who provides the best or some site where I can read a review of the hosting providers then please let me know.
