We have previously used many hosting companies in the past for shared, reseller and master reseller hosting and we were messed around more times than the websites were actually live. All we want is a genuine hosting company that can supply us with genuine hosting without 100’s of hours downtime and has decent support. Please let us know of any you come across.

After a year and a half of hosting a CGI based database site with a shared hosting company, resulting in occasional server overloads and web site shutdowns, it’s obvious that I need to change my hosting plan. I was planning on getting a dedicated server from 1and1 since their prices are unbelievably good (and I have some trust in them since United Internet owns them (they own GMX Mail as well and its fantastic)) And I think all the reviews I am finding on the internet are heavily biased about them and put there by other hosting companies anyone out there have anything that is actually honest about them?

Our company has a worldwide presence and we offer 26 different versions of our website all based from our single server in california. Our customers in Asia and Europe say our website is too slow for them. So we would like to find a way to set up our main server in the us, and then mirror it to asia and europe. Ideally we would like to find a managed hosting solution that can handle the coordination as well as server maintenance, so we can spend our efforts on the website itself. Alas, I can’t find any hosting companies that seem to offer hosting in a variety of countries and we were hoping to avoid having to work with 3 seperate companies in different parts of the world due to the added risks.
