I am fed up of having a search engine thats powered by Google and I want to create my own!
What would be the best language(s) to write it in?
And how can I run it on shared hosting?

I stay at UK and my target market is UK too. Will hosting my small website in India affect the performance? (Shared hosting)
The prime cause for me to pose this question is that I had already hosted a ".co.uk" website in India but it gets listed in www.google.co.uk

Me and my team created a 3d game mmorpg like all other mmorpg it requires a great dedicated server maybe not in hardware but in internet speed to handle many players without lag.
By experience which are the best companies to get one? i ve been searching on google but i really need some experience talking here. I dont care about the money but if is worth the money better.
Post links and why! thanks!

First and foremost, I don’t take care of the technical management of my Godaddy domains and hosting …
Now, I am trying to educate myself on how to manage a few things on my own and I was made aware after talking to Godaddy Tech support that my hosting is up for renewal.
For Canadian (more or less the same in U.S $) renewal, I will get:
150 GB Space | Unlimited Bandwidth
• 500 Email Accounts2
• 25 MySQL Databases (1 GB each)
• FREE Ad Credits:
MySpace® and Google®†
However, I’m not stupid and simple googling around indicates that Godaddy hosting is HORRIBLE.
My question is, why is it so bad? Is a lot of money for what I’m getting in return?
What about the domains I have with Godaddy? Is it worth the hassle to switch the domains over to the new hosting?

I realized that there’s only few steps involved for deploying the
joomla which is already working at local
and then published at the web hosting under linux.
This could lead us into an nightmare for sure.
This guideline is straight forward, but there’s something more
need to do some changes.
http://www.dart-creations.com/joomla/joomla-tutorials/uploading-joomla-to-your-web-server.html
I wish if there’s anyone who already done passing
this case and wanted to share again.
I miss the clue here.
I still having the problems.
Don;t say that I need to redo the work again
from the Fresh intall joomla at the Server.
I already done it from my local pc.
sigh.
oh yes, uncle google already answered this topic. But it’s not matching with my case tough.
Here’s the error logs i received;

Please take a look at bluehost.com
Is there any other website that offers the same things as bluehost and for 3 or 5 $ a month
I like bluehost a lot but if i want to join them i will be billed on a yearly basis I want to be billed on a monthly basis, bluehost can do that but I will be billed 10 $ per month instead of 3.95 $ I want a monthly plan with the same price and the same service, I don’t need a website builder. And i need to be able to upgrade from shared hosting to dedicated to servers and cloud hosting, you see I can’t pay them about 300 $ a year (i have 3 sites) if i can find a hosting place that charges me 3.95 $ it would be better. And bluehost let you send 50 newsletters per h, if you know some place that let you send more newsletters per h it would be great
NB
I already know about mailchimp aweber and those site and I don’t want them I know how to create a newsletter myself and many hosting site provide this feature for free
Don’t say anything about hosting24.com or 000webhost.com I’m currently using 000webhost.com which is the hosting provider for hosting24.com and it sucks if you don’t believe me, google it and see the reviews to make sure that I’m not lying.

What happens to my google adwords account when I switch our web-site hosting service?
Currently, my website is is hosted through a web-developing company that also has connected us to the Google Adwords, right now this company has full control of our Google Adwords account.
We are thinking to switching our web hosting to another service where we would have full control of the website without having to go through the web developers in order to make any changes.
My question is that when I switch our domain name to another hosting service and stop working with the web-developer, what will happen to my Google Adwords account?
Will it be suspended because they have the control of it currently or will I need to make a new account and set up new keywords when the web-hosting switch is completed??
Thanks everybody!!!
P.S. any advice on web-hosting services and the process of switching from a web-developer to a prgoram that i would have full control on would be greatly appreciated, thanks again!
