On every single game (which would be Hidden & Dangerous 2, and Black Hawk Down) I Host a dedicated server to start a clan or a "have fun" server and people join but then it says they disconnected in the dedicated server window. Any idea how to let people join on any server you make on any game?

I’m creating a tournament hosting website, and I want my users to be able to quickly sign up into a tournament and play against each other without my presence. For example, I have 16 slots to start a tournament, once 16 people register it would automatically randomly assign them against 1 of the other opponents. How difficult would it be to write a code that accomplishes this task? And what languages is it possible to do this with? I don’t need it to interact with the game at all, it would be an honor system where players report the winners and the winner moves on in the brackets.
BTW, Id be willing to pay someone to help me in the creation of this.

I think the winner of that game should go to the playoffs but should have the tougher road on going on the road since the Saints will win 3 or 4 more games than the Saints. I don’t have a problem with the current system (4 division winners and 2 wild cards) but the team with the better records deserve to have home field since it helps teams to have a better shot of winning that game.

I understand that there are no dedicated servers for COD4:MW2 so at the beggining of everygame someone with the best connection or the better host record is chosen to be host, and I also understand that if you consistantly have a good connection then you will probably get chosen host more often, and that also having a good connection and being host gives you the advantage in game since your shots register quicker or something, but what exactly does the host do? Why is it the game has to stop when the host leaveS? I don’t completely understand what the host does exactly.

With the new Xbox 360 Slim systems that have WiFi Wireless technology built into them, is it possible for other Xbox 360 Slim systems to connect to each other without routers or cables. For instance, let say there are four xboxes in one room that all have WiFi Wireless technology, can one system host a game while the other three connect to the system wirelessly using this new built in WiFi technology?

I have Star Wars Battlefront II on PC, and multiplayer is a lot of fun. Lately I’ve been trying to host a dedicated server with 32 people on it. But I only have a 384k DSL connection, and even if only a few people are on, they have high pings and tons of lag, making them hate the server and they’ll never want to come back
.
I made it dedicated so that I wouldn’t have to have Battlefront II running all the time (I’m using LucasArts’s Server Manager). Yet, I can still join the game whenever I want. All I’m saying here is that I play Battlefront II on the same computer that I host the server on, which, yes, I know, is not the best option I suppose… But I don’t have the luxuries of a thriving steady income.
So, if I want to host 32 people, what kind of internet connection should I be looking into? What kind of connection is good enough so that the server won’t hog bandwidth from the other computers my family uses? 512k? 1M? 3M? 6M? What other advice do you guys have for me? And I dunno, I have a feeling that I’m currently getting ripped off by my current provider (.95 for 384kbps).
Thanks very much!
