Change domains to another hosting plan?

Can i switch domain names to another hosting plan. for example, if i bought a domain name from bluehost.com, can I switch it to go daddy.com hosting plan? or another dedicated server hosting plan.

looking for well established web hosts they can be found at www.tophostingtoday.com reviews, register domain names the first place to find good reliable web hosting.

I need a paid wordpress service where I can host multiple blogs (with my own domain names) manage multiple authors and not have to do any installation or server management.

Will using a shared host web server be ok?

My site currently is hosted with Yahoo. (SecuritySaint.com) . I am adding two more sites with different domain names and linking them together. I want to go to a less expensive host, will this effect my organic ranking? or hurt in any way? Any info. on CityMax web hosting? or Bluehost? I am considering them.

I want to build several small websites (1-2 pages) for a few domains. Is there any way to buy one hosting package and share it between many domains?

I have used yahoo (favorite!) and go daddy for hosting. It seems with them I have to buy a hosting package for each domain. Is there any way to get around this?

ps. I also realize that I could just forward these domain names to pages hosted with another website account – that is not the answer I am looking for. I want each domain to appear to be its own unique website (to the search engines as well!)

Thanks!

what is the best free domain hosting service?

I’m looking for one that has no downtime and url forwarding. And possibly no ads if I did ever plan to develop the site. If not free then what other web hosting service provides said benefits for a low cost and maybe has unlimited domain names.

My question has to do with affiliate internet marketing. For years I’ve used one shared web hosting account and I create multiple add-on domains on it for all my various sites. I know it’s not a good idea to have all of your domains on one server because search engines can see they all come from the same IP address if you link the sites and if you’re server goes down, all of your sites are down. No site access = no money coming in.

I see that several of the top power affiliates get themselves a reseller hosting account so they can create individual websites rather than add-on domains, but they’re still all on the same IP address and if the server goes down, all the sites will be down.

Reseller hosting is considerably more expensive than shared hosting and I know you can offset the cost by selling accounts and domain names from it, but let’s say you don’t sell to other people.

So what’s the advantage of using reseller hosting instead of shared hosting for affiliate marketing?

Also, yesterday I was looking at some reseller hosting. I need to do some more research, but tell me if something like this is in the ballpark or too expensive. These are just the high level features, but bascially, anything you can do on a shared hosting account, you can do on this so I certainly wouldn’t be losing anything.

.95/mo
cPanel
25 GB diskspace
250 GB data transfer (both of those are far more than I currently use for my 40ish domains)
free eNom to sell domain names

So, why would I want to use a reseller account instead of shared hosting?

WARNING: I don’t mind hearing about your reseller promotion, but please answer my main question above – what’s the advantage? I’ve been doing this Answers thing long enough to know that if you turn this into a sales pitch, vindictive Yahoo Answers members and competitors will turn you in for commercial solicitation and you’ll get your account banned, so promote with caution because people suck. :( So I will say this loud and clear to the Yahoo Answers team, please don’t ban anyone. This community is about getting answers and that’s what I’m looking for.
UPADTE: Thanks, Joe. You made a couple of points that escaped me. You’re right about moving domains, so much easier when not dealing with addons. Also, a reseller account would be more stable than shared. ResellerZoom was the one I was looking at. HostGator is more cost effective on a per GB basis, but it’s also overkill for what I need at this time.

If I changed hosting, will it resolve the issue or the blacklisting is indeed on the domain names and not the IP address of my domains? If I change hosting, my IP addresses will changed yet the domains are still the same.

I was wondering how the web designers here host their clients websites and/or sell them domain names. Do you buy one shared hosting account and put them all there or do you give them their own separate accounts as a reseller? Or do you just tell them to go buy hosting somewhere?

I’d really appreciate as many answers as possible?
