How good is Godaddy hosting service ?
I’m thinking on changing my hosting provider because the one I have really sucks; the web pages I have there often fail (data base service) and I’d like to be on a reliable one.
Is Godaddy a good hosting ? What about the speed they have ? Does anyone have a bad experience with them ? Is there any other hosting service you could recommend me ?
I’d really appreciate your answers and help.

Godaddy is good for domains but terrible for hosting, just google for some reviews.
I recommend and personally use:
http://www.hostmonsterplus.com
They have unlimited space and transfer.
They give you a free domain for life.
They have php and mysql if you ever use those.
You can also add as many domains (.com, .net, …) as you like so you can have many different sites for 1 hosting price.
They also give you free $50 Google Credits for advertising your site.
If you go with them and have any trouble making your site feel free to PM me, I have a lot of experience there.
Whatever you choose, the best luck to you.
I have only bought my domain names from godaddy. I personally use http://www.asmallorange.com/ I haven’t had any issues with them. When I have needed help, customer service was quick to reply, really helpful, and super nice.
I’ve been with GoDaddy for well over 5 years (hosting *and* domains), and have yet to have any issues with them.
They’re fast, extremely helpful… and extremely polite, and they go out of their way to make your business with them a good experience (they’re the only online company I’ve ever dealt with that call you simply to inquire if there’s any questions or issues they could possibly help you with…)
I’m not too crazy about their control panel, but it’s better than a lot of others out there, and I use FTP to manage my files, anyway…
Godaddy is okay, but I keep getting sick everytime I log on to their site… So much publicity!!!
The good thing about Godaddy is that they offer both Windows and Linux hosting. This is good if you plan to have a .NET site (Windows).
I’ve gone with Modhost.com (Linux hosting) for many years now and it’s great: affordable, and also easy management. (Management at Godaddy is confusing for new comers; you’ll feel more comfortable with Modhost).
Never had a problem with them.
Good luck!
You may search http://answers.yahoo.com for answers or, i’d recommend Hostgator for it is more reliable than others.
after running with hostgator for a few months and had zero downtime and the forum and blog and email have been very fast. We’re sure that hostgator is very fast and stable web hosting provider.
Godaddy hosting is really slow
You may read some reviews, user feedback, and our speed test here:

You can also get some coupon code to save money.
You can check review of top ten web hosting service providers below.
Godaddy works great, they are reliable and have a pretty good support.
I recommend their Deluxe plan (you can host multiple sites on a single account).
Price: $6.99/month
Price of a discounted domain with any hosting plan is $2.19
They also have a 20% sale at the moment.
(They don’t advertise it anywhere on their site)
Use the "Save 20%" link http://www.hosttell.com/
Hello,
Godaddy is only good for domains registrations – not for hosting.
I’ll not recommend you.

I’ll suggest you hostgator:

I have been hosted with GoDaddy for less than a month, and have been down, offline, due to their screw up, for nearly the last week. I requested a migration from Windows shared hosting to Linux shared hosting. This is a dramatically simple operation, and GoDaddy screwed it up, and I have spent literally hours on the phone over the past 6 days trying to get it cleared up, to no avail. They are now ‘holding my domain hostage’, and I am out of business, with no recourse. I am losing money and clients, and all they do is tell me they are looking into it, and that it will take up to 72 hours. Meanwhile, as I said, I am losing money and clients.
I would not recommend GoDaddy ever. Period. Their customer service is definitely among the worst I have *ever* encountered in my entire life.
As an experienced webmaster I recommend BlueHost service which I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.
They offer a Full-featured service only $6.95 a month. You can see their Plan Details accompanied with reliable reviews regarding their service at:

Good Luck!
http://www.godaddy.com is a very safe site because i have a site with them no problem, it is just getting to learn how to use it is the problem but after around an hour or so trying you should have no problem!
If you would maybe like some different web hosting try the following:
http://www.webs.com
http://www.hostmonster.com (These guys are brilliant)
http://webhost.net/ (Probably the most expensive i have seen! 199$ per Month!)
http://webhostdirect.com/
etc. Basically look up on google SAFE web hosting and you should get some good deals but the above i have mentioned are completely safe!
If you are having problem choosing a web hosting that does not suck, I suggest you do the following:
1. Go to the webhost review sites such as webhostingjury, hostingsthatsuck.com or webhostinggeeks and list down about 3 common top hosting companies. GoDaddy can be one of them.
2. Next, for each web hosting X, do a “X sucks” search on Google. Read some complaints and see if you may encounter the same problems like them. Some of the complaints may relate to certain groups of users only such as VPS, dedicated server users or resellers. So you may not be affected if you are not from these categories. Note that you do this also to eliminate those hostings that get on the top/best/recommended list because they paid for to be there.
3. Eliminate those hostings you feel uncomfortable with, and look for the best bargain hosting for your money.
Definitely you can start with GoDaddy and maybe a few more like Lunarpages, Bluehost etc. Good luck.
Websites on Godaddy open a bit slowly. Although their control panel interface is good, but its very slow as well.
I recommend you go with Hostgator
Their features are amazing. Support is top notch.
I’ve been with them for over two years and have never faced any problem.
They are quite affordable and currently host over 13,000,000 domains!! So, you know your websites are safe, secure and hassle-free.
Godaddy is only good for domain registration.
Never ever think for hosting with Godady.
If you are going to host for first time. you should go for
