I’d like to buy a server that I can divide into two or three Virtual Private Servers.

It’s for hosting Minecraft game servers.

I don’t know what would be an ideal server to start with, ideally one that I can upgrade with more RAM or hard disk space later on if we need to.

If you could just suggest the types of server I need to be looking at, like tower or blade etc, that would be a good start.

I am trying to find a website hosting provider that will 1. Host a website and 2. Host a Minecraft server, all on the same plan. I am willing to spend up to /month. A Minecraft server is a Java Executable (.jar) file. The hosting requirements for a Minecraft server I would like to run are:

*At least 20 Mbit (2.5 MByte)/second upload and download speed
*At least 1.5 GB RAM
*1.5 GHz (or greater) processor
*A static IP address
*Able to have the internet connect to a certain port (by default :25565, but this can be changed).
*50 MB hard disk space
*Preferably an unmetered or unlimited bandwidth plan, but 200-300 GB bandwidth per month or more will work.

Is there any provider that will do this on a shared website hosting, Virtual Private Server (VPS), Virtual Dedicated Server, or Dedicated Server plan for less than /month?

I am starting a online business directory, so there will be lots of advertisements and profile pages. There are some other features also such as discussion and youtube videos. I have an idea for a review website that allows users to log in and leave there own ratings and reviews on a particular product. like Yelp trip advisor etc. I need to know if there is a particular host that would allow me to create this myself, with basic computer literacy. The host must have a rating system( stars ) and allow unlimited pages, created by users. Thanks for any help.

Planning to instal Adobe photoshop CS2 and CS3 plus other web developement software, also will be installaing webserver for production use.
Now is this the best configuration or should I go for something more.
