i just had bought a business pack of linux hosting on mydomain.com …i know to create a website but in registering domain and managing hosting i am really bad can anyone say me how can i add my domain and make my website ..and please post the starter guide ..your help will be appreciated and someone tell me about the difference between linux hosting and windows hosting.. ,thanks

I currently have godaddy’s 4gh plan, and I am considering a jump to a dedicated server by hostgator. Is it easy to manage just like the shared hosting accounts? How do you make sure your dedicated server is online 24/7 (since I assume they don’t monitor it for uptime)?

I want to open an online business that will allow customers to have accounts. Some managed dedicated hosting plans have features that others do not and I am a litte confused. One company mentioned something about bandwith overage but I was not sure on what it meant.

I’ve seen something like 0 less for self managed. Is this about what it is everywhere else?

I need the site to be fast to upload merchandise pictures. Looking at many hosts and website design sites has made me confused as to how much I will have to spend monthly eventually.
