If my mom becomes a host in a foreign exchange program would i be able go to Italy for free?
I want to go to Italy for a foreign exchange program.
virtual webserver hosting software program, antivirus system, computer and servers, os reviews
I want to go to Italy for a foreign exchange program.
I personally know about three different people (friends) who offer web hosting services, but I’m not sure about giving them my money because… I hate to say it… they have no reputation, so I’m a little wary. I think I’d rather go with a reputable hosting company. Where can I find affordable web hosting companies that aren’t "fly by night" companies? Thanks in advance.
I want to start an online store and I am on a low budget. I need everything that is mandatory for security and advertising as well as a cart of course. I need the site to be fast to upload merchandise pictures. Looking at many hosts and website design sites has made me confused as to how much I will have to spend monthly eventually. I can learn to manage the site myself thereafter.
Thanks for any input.
I have a new vps (windows server 2003 64bit) but my domain name is hosting on other i want to host the domain name on my VPS account to configure the mail server for my VPS to use that domain name. I need complete help please)
<VirtualHost *:80>
ServerAdmin admin@whateverdomain.com
DocumentRoot "C:\rootstuff"
ServerName servername.com
</VirtualHost>
that works, but lets say I want a specific subdomain of my domain to forward to another site. How would I do that?
I tried:
<VirtualHost http://whateversite.com/siteiwantforwarded:80>
ServerAdmin admin@whateversite
DocumentRoot "http://thesiteIwanttoforwardto.com/"
ServerName servername.com
</VirtualHost>
but apache won’t start when I do this.
To elaborate, I want people to be able to access my own server at www.mysitename.com but if they go to www.mysitename.com/subdirectory then it will forward them without the use of html redirection and display www.theothersite.com’s page (A virtual host mirror)
What type of operating system should I choose to host my website? Which is better in terms of security, performance, etc.
we are in need of a new sever hosting, for our ISP network across South Africa the one we have is no good and it is in Dallas
I currently have two internet connections on my Linux headless server. One connection is via the NAT on the local eth0. The other is a 3g usb modem.
I cant seem to get the modem connection to work.
