I am somewhat experienced with computers and used virtual machines on a range of OS’s (host and virtual).
I am currently dual-booting Linux(Debian-based) and Windows(vista).
My question really is: Can i use my windows inside a virtual machine on my Linux, or my Linux inside a virtual machine on my Windows?
Any reply is appreciated!

I am interested in starting a website – a website that has a lot of space to advertise several products with product descriptions, reviews, etc, a website capable of having links within sentences (where you can click on certain word and it takes you to another page), possible to have banners on top, bottom and side of the site pages.
Please let me know what web hosting site fits what I am looking for and why you prefer this web hosting site.
Thank you!

I have a weird router and for some reason it doesn’t have virtual servers. I was told it was under advanced but the only things there were:
RIP
Security
Firewall
Filter
QoS
Port Mapping
Time Zone
ACL
TR069
UPnP

Hello,
We are considering hosting an exchange student for a school year and I would like to hear of any experiences people out there might have had when hosting an exchange student.
I have a 14 year old and although she is a great kid, I am nervous about bringing another teenager into my house. Please share your experience. Thanks!!!

I am starting up a website for a guild in a MMO. I am trying to find a good hosting service. In my imaginary reality it would be free, but I know that may not be a possibility especially as I can’t stand ads. I won’t be needing to do much. Just a small forum, a calendar, and information about our more active members and officers. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I registered a domain with sitelutions.com last year. Now I am going to buy a hosting package with another company. I was told that I can point my domain to the server of the company that I bought the hosting from . How do I do this? What is this called? URL redirection? DNS? Or what? I don’t know the terminology. But anyways, how to do make it so that when you type in the domain name on your browser, you get webpages coming form the hosting company’s server?

Well I am having a issue with virtual SMTP servers. I am trying to make it so each domain on my windows 2003 box (Virtual dedicated) has its own IP address for sending mail. I setup a virtual SMTP server for each IP and domain but when I send mail through that IP/Domain it will use the servers default IP address to relay the mail out.
Do you have any idea how to fix this so each virtual SMTP is sending with its own IP address? Or do you know of a SMTP server I can istall that will let me configure it this way?
I have a bunch of domains hosted on a windows box and some clients reqire a dedicatged IP with rDNS for sending emails.
