remote in via an external site?

Does anyone know any hosting services to make free websites (I don’t care if there are ads or anything like that, as long as its free)?

first of all sorry for my poor english
i am bit confused here.
i have unlimited bandwith and space with linux server.
so i wanted to upload some files most of them are 10 to 50 mb
but the total is around 25 gb .
so should i upload those on fileserver,filessonic,hotfile ect
or should i upload on my won server.
the only problem is most of the file hosting service delete files after certain amount of time.
so if i upload on my own server will it slow down my whole site ?
The other alternative is torrent but i am not interested becasue most of the users dont know how to use it

I am looking into buying a J-Taged xbox and I was planning on hosting lobbies online for a while, but then doing them system link too. I was wondering, do you need a KV to host them system link as long as im not connected to live? And dont nobody ask me if i will give them 10th!

i want to operate a site with the ability to have users upload music files to the server. can i get away with a regular host or would i need a virtual private server or something more. i would need a lot of disk space.

#2 How does a dedicated server work? Is it a computer that is open 24/7 hosting the server?
#3 How are you going to be able to control the dedicated server? Do you use remote desktop connection?
#4 Can it run bukkit servers? Can you change the bukkit plugins easily?

I am setting up a domain on Windows Server 2003. When it asks for the DNS name for the new domain can I use our company’s web address even though we don’t host the website ourselves or can I ‘make one up’?
