First i know very little when it comes to programing and software etc.
I want to find out how and who to hire for my website project.
From the research i have done it seems that i could start off getting hosting from a Managed Hosting with a dedicated server for around 0 to 0 to start out with.
I was told because its a youtube clone type site that i would be better off with this type of set up.

Now the question is:
Who is the person called who will be able to correct software,install new software, change the content/design of website. The go to person when there is trouble? Software engineer?
Also who is the person who i go to when i need to upgrade a program or ad another program to my website.

I would like to start placing small classified ads to get help with my project and want to know who i should hire and what roll they should play.
Please keep in mind I am trying to save money I need to hire the bare MINIMUM I would need to make the company run.

I am new to website design so I was approached by someone on the internet to do a reseller website program it would be 0 dollar setup fee to start and a dollar hosting fee a month would have to use there hosting program. I would use there easy to build website software to build my customers websites and find my own customer if I have any technical problems contact them they handle all technical problems get me setup with a website the customer would use there hosting program also. I really need advice do you think I can make money during something like this are am I just making that person rich and I am worried I wont make any money. If anybody have any advice. I am searching for a web hosting service that can give me reliable service, a series of email accounts, PHP capabilities, decent storage space, and not cost much. Where can I find a good, reliable web hosting service ?

We will use the following features:
1. Mail server (not included but purchasable from MicroSoft themselves).
2. Web server (IIS7) with PHP and ASP.NET (yes, I can I get it compatible).
3. FTP Server (FTP6) – Installable.
4. Reception.
5. MySQL, MS SQL, MSQL, MS Access database(s) server(s).
6. Work desks.
7. Administration.
All numbers will have different amounts of computers and we are hoping to have 34 computers.
We have Windows Server 2008, but we want some machines running Vista for easier and administration and development.
We have ,000,000 to spare.
The servers are in California (preferred not to say where they are, but they will be highly secure).
We will also be hosting as a provider to commerce and advertise our corporation.

We will have three DNS servers to divide the IP address into a commemorative name (our own TLDs).
But we do not want to purchase online, if we have to we will, anyone know where (a place) we can buy the disc? Thanks!!

I am trying to choose an operating system for my web hosting plan. Could somebody explain the difference between Linux and Windows systems?

It seems to be that you should choose one based on which scripting language you’ll be working with. I know some HTML and some Python….

Also, does what web design software I use affect what operating system I should use? Like, if I’m using Microsoft Visual Web Developer, do I have to use Windows? I havent picked a web design software out yet.

I had one, with 000webhost but it wont let me upload the file, so it would be good to have one that understands RAR files etc and has an upload limit over 5MB.

Hello! I am searching for a good site for publishing my quotes and sayings. All the sites that i found through the search engines are slightly passive and technically host only few members. In other words, i did not manage to find a popular site for my objective.
