I have a website hosted by godaddy.com but unless I buy the big dedicated server hosting plans, I can do live video streaming.
I have a camera setup at my church and I want to stream our services LIVE. With godaddy I cant unless I purchase a dedicated server hosting plan which start at like /month. Is there anything cheaper out there? Thanks!

If I’m running multiple virtual machines (VMware) on one physical server host, and wanted to test an IDS with them. If the VMs are sending/receiving data to and from each other, does it leave the physical host, go out onto the network, or does it stay on the host? If all VMs are using the same physical NIC from the host, what MAC address problems come up on the switch?

I run a file hosting website built using asp.net technology. I want to know what tool I can use to put a limite on individual connection’s bandwidth, For example like 100KB/sec. There doesn’t seem to be an existing solution in .net
In fact, I want available bandwidth to be equally shared among open connections, but the system don’t seem to do that automatically.
Thank you very much!!!

How can I host a MapleStory Private Server in a dedicated hosting server? I plan to get one but how do I set up the stuff?

I’m not necessarily looking for dedicated hosting, either. Shared would probably be fine. I’m just wanting to see what most people are using.

I need to ask a question about changing the name servers for a domain that is still being managed by Yahoo, but is not currently being hosted by Yahoo… Thanks, Doug

I’m used to working with linux (apache) servers, but now I own an offsite Windows 2003 server running IIs6. I seen the help files, but they confuse me and I dont really know where to start to be honest. When i go into the IIS administrator, it says everything including ‘webserver’ is running, but i’m unable to access the default web pages with my browser, i tried both my server IP and ‘localhost’. I’ll also have to set up nameservers, php, mysql, etc…but first i wanna see the default web pages load in a browser before i get to far in it. The server came with one IP, i ordered another because NS nameservers require 2. I plan to use this server to host a ‘halo’ game, as well as multiple web site….i considered a hosting business to help pay for the server. Any and all information would be appreciated. If i can’t figure out how to use the IIS, which i rather would, i’ll just install Apache and do it the old fashioned way. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

So I have this Linux email server that I’m trying to connect with my godaddy.com address. I’m running Ubuntu command line on it and postfix etc. However I have no idea how you would put it on a web address. Is there anyone who has experience in this that would be willing to help me out?

I make my own templates using both frontpage and bluevoda, and I find most freewebsites fussy uploading them. Any free webhosting that has a smooth system for this?
