I have a friend who’s allowing me to use the server he created, but I can’t host it at my house because I have a router and can’t find a guide to help me. Would anyone care to help a girl out?

I am hosting an event at my high school where there will be songs, scenes, and dances performed from a musical and the procedes will go to a charity for foster children. I need help in picking the right musical to use.

I have a business blog section on my website. It’s basically an area of the website I can regularly update so that the content on my website is fresh. This is supposed to be good for my website in terms of search engines crawlers (apparently they’ll return more often).

But would I benefit more if I also have a blog in a proper blogging environment such as Blogger, Wordpress etc. with links to various related pages in my website. I guess the upside would be that I would have relevent inbound links but the downside would be that I wouldn’t have the blog on my own site which means no regularly updated content.

Unless I run the blogs simultaneaously, but would that be seen as some sort of Black Hat technique due to the content being duplicated on an external blog which is linking back?

Having both blog on my website and on an external system is an option I’m open to, although I feared that I may be marked as a black hat by Search Engines.

If not then I may as well go for that.

I am wondering how easy the "easy site" software is to use. Does it have html editor? What is your opinion of it? It seems like a good price so I was curious.

I´d like to put up a website to showcase my portfolio in design and programming, but I would also like to use the site to sell my skills and design and host web sites for customers. Does that make me a reseller? Is host reselling the option I should look for?
I would appreciate recommendations for which provider to sign up with, I need to publish sites using anything from Drupal to flat file html.

Where can I get a low-cost, but still reliable Windows Virtual Dedicated Web Server? Should have a nice control panel for managing the websites. The plan should allow hosting of unlimited domains and loads of bandwidth. Please suggest me some websites. Pls. note – reliability (uptime) is my prime concern.
