I am looking for a web hosting service to host a website for a business that will be quite MySQL heavy. I've been searching for review wesbites, but they all seem so unprofessional and have very different rankings from each other. I get the sense that a lot of them are sponsored and biased. Is there an objective review site out there?

Can anyone recommend some reputable companies who offer managed hosting? There seem to be so many out there and so many websites claim to provide user reviews and rankings – but I have not found any to be helpful in differentiating between them – any advice? Thanks!

I didn’t set this website up, and at the same time, my client cant seem to remember the hosting server he used. I was able to find the registrar in which the domain name was registered, but no information about where the website is being accessed from. Sure I could rout the DNS to the new hosting company, but then he’d be paying hosting across two servers! How do I find the hosting company of this domain name?

What is the cheapest dedicated Linux server hosting package available in Chicago? I’m looking for something similar to fastservers.net, but cheaper.
The data center and servers MUST be physically located in Chicago for my purposes.

Is it the more watts a system has then the louder it will be? I want it to be loud with a lot of bass because it will be used for dances, but I don't want it to be expensive. I have a 0 budget.

i know this can be done not sure how but i think i need a program or software to do so, i have domain and all tools needed other than software for hosting, do i need web hosting software or can it be done without it? if i need can someone help me find the software?

I am making a website for valentines for my girlfriend. I know kinda gay but meh. Anyhow what would be a good web hosting place to host this? Going to be probably using dreamweaver or frontpage to upload so if it could be compatible with this that would be needed. I think its called FTP/PHP.

I created a web server in virtual machine with BlueQuartz OS. From intranet I am able to get access to the web server as well as FTP server. From Internet I can get access only to the FTP and not to the web site. I have forwarded port 80 and 21 in my router but still I am not able to access my site through http. Any help would be appreciated Plz…………………?
